Gov. Deal to Throw First Pitch at NHS-DHS Game

Georgia governor to make appearance at Norcross Blue Devils vs. Duluth Wildcats baseball game Monday evening at Norcross High School.

This Monday evening at , the Georgia governor is scheduled to throw the first pitch at the Norcross Blue Devils vs. Duluth Wildcats baseball game.

The pitch will be in recognition of Chris Raasch, Norcross scholar athlete baseball player, according to a press release.

Raasch made a verbal agreement last fall that he would go to Vanderbilt after he graduates this spring, as reported by the Gwinnett Daily Post.

The Blue Devils website says other state and county officials are expected to be at the game and will be sitting behind home plate.

Norcross High School will play Duluth High School at 6 p.m. at Norcross High School, 5300 Spalding Drive.
