You Can get Your Kids to Eat Better

The Children’s Ministry and Health & Wellness Ministry of Duluth First United Methodist Church welcome pediatrician Shannon H. Cole, MD, FAAP, of Gwinnett Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Duluth (www.gwinnettpeds.com) on Wednesday, May 4th, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as she speaks on how “You Can Get Your Kids to Eat Better”.

Dr. Cole will be sharing information on an American problem of childhood obesity.  She and several partners have written a booklet to help your child grow up strong and healthy. Everyone who registers will receive this booklet free along with handouts for your child.  Dr. Cole, a member of Duluth First UMC, attended BB Harris, Duluth Middle and North Gwinnett High School. She is a graduate of Emory University for college and medical school before completing her residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital in    Denver, Colorado.

While you are listening and talking with Dr. Cole your K- 5th grader will be with Bailey Koch, Pediatric Nutritionist.  Childcare will be provided for children younger than Kindergarten. Grandparents and caregivers are invited to attend this class too!

Lots of great items will be given  free.
