Duluth High Receives Sportsmanship Award
The honor comes from the Georgia Electric Membership Corporation.
Duluth High has received a sportsmanship commendation, according to a Gwinnett County Schools newsletter.
The school has received the 2013 Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award from the Georgia Electric Membership Cooperation.
The award honors schools that demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship during
the 2012-13 school year, and that support the Georgia High School Association philosophy of respect, fairness, honesty, and responsibility.
Several other schools in the state also were so honored, the release said.
