A kick-off pep rally Friday, Sept. 23, will create awareness and excitement about a PTA-sponsored campaign to raise $50,000 for new playground equipment and shade trees.

Students will collect funds during a three-week fund-raising campaign that culminates in a “Fantabulous Fun Fitness Friday” Oct. 14 featuring Zumba classes for the entire school, relay races, cage ball, and hula hoop games.

The Duluth school has the backing of several local business sponsors who are providing prizes and awards for students and teachers.
