Area Schools Earn Industry Certification in Technology Education Courses

Four schools with technology education programs in Gwinnett County are now industry certified, and students will be able to enroll in them in the fall.Β 

The four school are Duluth High, Grayson High, Lanier High, and North Gwinnett High. Each have participated in challenging reviews to earn the distinction.

The industry-certified programs include: engineering at Duluth High, marketing education at Grayson High and Lanier High, and culinary arts at North Gwinnett High.

"The formal certification process strengthens all program components and benefits students in many ways, Gwinnett County Public Schools officials said in a press release.Β 

"Students participating in industry-certified programs are ensured participation in programs that have been carefully interfaced with current industry standards, thus helping to increase their qualifications toward successful employment.
