Al Taylor New Principal of Radloff Middle School

Taylor takes over leadership of Duluth school following retirement of Dr. Patty Heitmuller.

Alfred “Al” Taylor is the new principal of Radloff Middle School in Duluth. His April appointment by the Gwinnett Board of Education became effective today (June 1). He assumes leadership of the school following the retirement of Dr. Patty Heitmuller.

Taylor served as assistant principal since 2006 at Meadowcreek High School. From 2003 to 2006, Taylor was business education teacher and assistant football coach at Meadowcreek High. He taught sixth grade mathematics at Sweetwater Middle School from 2002-2003. Meadowcreek High and Sweetwater Middle are both Gwinnett County Public Schools. Taylor also has experience in retail management. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business education from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Georgia State University. Taylor is currently working on his doctorate in educational policy studies at Georgia State.
