How Did Cheesecake Factory Do on Follow-Up Health Inspection?

The restaurant in the Mall of Georgia area had received a 'U' rating in a recent inspection.

The Cheesecake Factory restaurant in the Mall of Georgia area in Buford recently underwent a follow-up health inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department. It was the second health check of the past week.

The follow-up inspection on Jan. 24 was because the restaurant, which opened in December 2013, had received a "50/U" rating on Jan. 22.

In the Jan. 24 inspection, the Cheesecake Factory received a "76/C" rating. Among the violations noted in this report:

Violation of Code: [.05(7)(a)1 ] Metal food containers and plastic food containers stored as clean have food debris. Food containers rewashed. All food contact surfaces shall be clean to sight and touch.  Corrected On-Site.  Repeat Violation.

Violation of Code: [.04(4)(l) ] Paper towels used to line containers of strawberries, chips, tosta shells, and rice noodles. Paper towels removed. Paper towels shall not be in contact with food during storage.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

I have been waiting for them to open now I continue to wait longer. I think they need new mgt. I will wait until they can get their score up. I guess I can get the cheesecake from the book store across from them.
