Duluth Restaurant Fails Second Inspection in 9 Days

Inspector: TJ House served halibut as tilapia and bass as cod.

A Duluth-area restaurant that's been open only since March failed a health department inspection for the second time in less than two weeks.

TJ House, at 3780 Old Norcross Road, scored 61 out of 100 in a May 22 inspection by the Gwinnett County Health Department. That was just nine days after receiving a 55 on May 13.

The restaurant was cited for 15 violations, including serving sea bass as cod and halibut as tilapia and posting an old inspection report. According to the inspector, a March 14 report with a score of 100 was posted (when it was OK'd to permit), not the recent 55.
