Heart filled with Gratitude

I apologize for the delay in saying a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the election process this year.  It is wonderful to see so many people who care deeply about this great City and want to be part of its future.  I have been meeting regularly with most of the candidates and have committed to mentoring those interested.  Let's make sure that the best and the brightest always have the chance to engage.

I left the morning after the election to attend my daughter's commissioning and graduation ceremony. She is now an officer in the US Navy and I could not be more proud of her.   I hope her hometown celebrates with me as she is a product of our fine school system and community.
