  • “Gas Taxes & Tolls” shows the Downtown Connector jammed at rush hour and reminds viewers that congestion kills jobs and keeps families apart. The ad tells voters of the opposition’s plans to implement more tolls and raise gas taxes and draws the distinction between their plan and ours – citizens won’t have any say.
  • “Untie the Knot.” In the ad Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Ambassador Andrew Young, Congressman Hank Johnson, Fulton County Chairman John Eaves, and DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis explain how voting yes for the Regional Transportation Referendum will create jobs, boost our economy, and untie Atlanta’s traffic knot.

Former President Ronald Reagan is featured in another ad.

  • This Untie Atlanta ad reminds conservative voters about Reagan’s decision in 1983 to raise gas taxes to fund roads and mass transit. The ad, titled “Dutch,” highlights President Reagan’s belief that investing in transportation creates jobs and builds a stronger economy.
