For more than a decade Ballar has counseled and advised clients on topics including wills, powers of attorney, guardianship, asset protection, Medicaid, and estate recovery.

He and his wife of 15 years Amy have two children Jane and Shea, who attend public school in Gwinnett County. Ballar earned a bachelor of arts degree from Oglethorpe University and a law degree from Mercer University School of Law.

Ballar is a member of the Gwinnett Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a member of the Buford Business Alliance and serves on the parents school board at his children’s school.
