Gwinnett To Have Special 'Welcome' for Vietnam Veterans in 2013

Vietnam vets and their families are asked to take part in the Veterans Day ceremony.

Gwinnett County will honor those who served our nation at their annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial on Monday (Nov. 11).

This year, the county will pay a special tribute to veterans of the Vietnam War. The event will include a "welcome home" ceremony for Vietnam veterans. The county is asking for Vietnam veterans and their families to take part in the event.

Sergeant Major Patrick C. Amos, 91B, Combat Medic, U.S. Army will deliver the keynote address.

No new names will be added to the wall this year.

The Veterans Day ceremony will take place Monday, Nov. 11 at 11am. The memorial is located across the parking lot from the Gwinnett Justice Administration Center at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville.
