7:10 p.m. — From Lawrenceville Patch: Angel Pritchett, 21, voted for the first time at the Lawrenceville First Baptist Church. "It feels pretty good to come and hopefully make a difference," said Pritchett. "I just felt like it was my duty to [vote]."

6:40 p.m. — From Lawrenceville Patch: Voting at Lawrenceville Baptist Church trickled to single digits by 6:40 p.m., 20 minutes before the polls close.

6:15 p.m. — Lawrenceville voting in photos.

6:10 p.m. — Charter school vote was tough decision for Peachtree Corners woman.

6 p.m. — Lilburn couple was first in line at their polling place: "We just didn't want to stand in line."

5:45 p.m. — Tweeted by Lilburn Patch: Here at Yellow River Baptist Church and there are more volunteers than people voting. NO LINE at all!

5:35 p.m. — Some voting times from Gwinnett Patch Facebook posts: "Four minutes from the time I walked into the Loganville American Legion til the time I walked out! There were three open voting machines when I walked in. This was around 11:45." and "Took me from 1:42 entering door to walking out at 1:56. My neighbors are jealous because they waited an hour to 2 hrs doing early voting last week. Great news was every time a new first time voter was checked in they clapped and blew a whistle. There were four newly turned 18 yr olds and a new citizen. The new citizen brought tears to my eyes. How very cool. Took hubby 10 minutes and he left the house 15 minutes before i did. As I left though the line was closer to 30 minutes. but they said it had been steady all morning."

5 p.m. — Tweeted by Lilburn Patch: 1,390 votes cast by 4:58 p.m. at Mountain Park Depot. That's about half of active voters in the precinct. pic.twitter.com/2jHyuFw8

4:45 p.m. — 1,425 voters as of 4:35 pm at Duluth City Hall.

4:30 p.m. — From Peachtee Corners Patch: Poll workers at the Pinckneyville Community Center in Berkeley Lake were met by a long line of voters waiting in the rain to cast their ballots when the doors opened at 7 a.m. Jan Gilliam, the poll manager said as of 1 p.m. 995 had voted.

3:25 p.m. — From Snellville Patch: Despite being registered with the Libertarian party, Snellville voters Julie Fair and Joy Crumpton said they would still vote for one of the two big parties. "In big elections," said Crumpton, "I choose one side or the other as our vote is such a small percentage." Fair agreed. She is a registered Libertarian but did not vote for Gary Johnson.

3:15 p.m. — From Gwinnett Patch Facebook post: No wait at Bethany Christian Center.

2:25 p.m. — Tweeted by Buford Patch: Buford Patch readers report voting wait times ranging from 5 minutes to 1hr 10 minutes 

2:20 p.m. — A quote from a voter shared by Lilburn Patch: Dwight Minton, an early voter at Berean Baptist Church in Lilburn, summed his feelings about showing up to vote: "There's so many people that don't have the opportunity to vote. They don't have the choice. In a lot of countries that you go to, they may go vote, but that doesn't mean that that vote's going to stand because they change it whenever. … We are all -- it don't make any difference what color, what race, what you are -- you're an American, and if you live here you should support this country."

2:10 p.m. — From Norcross Patch: About 400 people have voted so far in the local city council election for Norcross. Things have been pretty steady, said Poll Officer Monique Long, and the staff of six didn't get their first break until 1:30 p.m.

1:55 p.m. — From Lawrenceville Patch: Mike Ackerman of Lawrenceville made a second trip to his polling location at the Collins Hill Library. "I came by early this morning and there was a line then, even in the rain." Ackerman returned at about 1:30pm after taking a half day off from his job in Marietta. "I figured now would be a good time before work and school let out."

1:50 p.m. — Retweeted:  "@GwinnettDems has 6 or 7 drivers willing to take people to the polls, according to Steve Deak, chairman. Contact them if you need help."

1:45 p.m. — From Duluth Patch: Voter turnout at Duluth City Hall as of 1:30 pm was 1,043. (Reported by City Clerk's Office)

1:30 p.m. — From Gwinnett Patch Facebook post: No wait at Mountain Park depot in Lilburn.

1:22 p.m. — From Snellville Patch: Line at Annistown Road Baptist Church in Snellville was an hour and a half. Not sure why, most polling stations in town only had a 20-minute wait. The parking lot was jam-packed.

1:15 p.m. — From Norcross Patch: Norcross resident Alice Vander Veen voted early this afternoon at Hopewell Baptist Church after seeing the crowd this morning. "We were here at 8 a.m., thinking the people who were already going to go to work were already gone ...  [The line] went all the way around the sidewalk, and it was pouring rain, and everybody had umbrellas. We thought, 'We're not going to do it.' But we came back and did it!"

1:07 p.m. — From Norcross Patch: Poll manager C.A. DeBord said more than 800 people have voted so far at Hopewell Baptist Church in Norcross. It's 1 p.m. and things have finally slowed down so that there isn't a line coming from outside the doors.

12:52 p.m. — Tweeted by Dacula Patch: Turnout for Dacula package store referendum stands at about 160 so far according to Mayor Jimmy Wilbanks.

12:35 p.m. — From Lawrenceville Patch: Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology in Lawrenceville has had 500+ so far at 12:30. Line of 300 at 9am. Lobby was full.

12:30 p.m. — Poll line reportedly not too long and moving quickly at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville.

11:55 a.m. — From Gwinnett Patch Facebook post: "11:20 am in Sugar Hill, in and out in less than 10 minutes."

11:50 a.m. — From Suwanee Patch: All eyes are on election news at the Brown Bag Deli in Suwanee at midday.

11:35 a.m. — From Peachtree Corners Patch: A steady stream of voters have been showing up all morning at Simpson ES in Peachtree Corners. Voters grumbled a little that there were only six stations to cast your vote.

10:35 a.m. — From Dacula Patch: It took less than 15 minutes to vote at 12Stone (Duncans A) in Dacula ‪http://instagr.am/p/RsWQvhrteL/ 

10:15 a.m. — From Suwanee Patch: "I'm tired of Obama stealing my money," one Suwanee voter says in this article. http://patch.com/A-zsT0.

10:02 a.m. — From Duluth Patch: Gwinnett District III Board of Education candidate Jen Falk spotted by an observer campaining on a downtown Duluth street corner Tuesday morning holding her "Vote for Jen Falk" sign in the rain.

9:56 a.m. — From Duluth Patch: Vote count at Duluth City Hall polling precinct at 500 as of 9 a.m. (Reported by City Clerk's Office).

9:45 a.m. — Pollworker Suzy at Yellow River Baptist Church, where 68% of voters picked McCain in 2008: "You came at a good time." It took only 15 minutes to vote. She said people were in line at 6 a.m. and the line was "four or five deep" early. Around 300 had voted as of 9 a.m. Now, it's steady, but much lighter.

9:27 a.m. — From Suwanee Patch: Suwanee resident Bob Havey said about 8:40 AM that it took him about 45 minutes to vote.

9:15 a.m. — From Suwanee Patch: Turnout is strong at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Suwanee.

8:50 a.m. — From Gwinnett Patch Facebook post: "Everything was fine at Precinct 152 at about 7:45. First time in a new building for us - they managed to get us all inside and out of the rain. It took about 35 minutes or so start to finish."

7:45 a.m. — From Lilburn Patch: 150 people were in line before voting at Berean Baptist in Lilburn. This precinct went to Sen. John McCain in 2008 with 62.74%.

7:35 a.m. — From Lilburn Patch: Lines at New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn are long, a 50-minute wait for some. And they have to stand outside.
