Fort Bragg hopes to help all have a safe holiday season

FORT BRAGG, N.C. –  In efforts to protect and serve the community during the holidays, Fort Bragg's Provost Marshal's Office will setup security checkpoints in the coming weeks to conduct security and sobriety checks.

Fort Bragg Provost Marshal's Office in conjunction with the North Carolina "Booze It & Lose It" program, will be setting up a checkpoint Dec. 21 off Bragg Boulevard, to ensure impaired drivers are off the roadway.

"Fort Bragg's military police and it's local law enforcement partners will be conducting numerous compliance checking stations to ensure everyone within this great community is operating their vehicles within the limits of the law and in a safe and responsible manner," said Lt. Col. Mike Johns, Fort Bragg Provost Marshal.
