Untie Atlanta Ad Shows Real People Voting Yes

Final TV ad features a construction contractor, a waiter, a grandmother, a builder, a small business owner, a working mom, an intern, and an entrepreneur.

The final ad for Untie Atlanta’s transportation campaign features real people from around the metro Atlanta region voting for TSPLOST in the July 31 referendum and explaining why they support it.

The proposed one-cent sales tax would fund transportation improvements in a 10-county metro Atlanta area that includes Gwinnett County.

Titled “Real People Vote Yes for Transportation,” the TV ad focuses on a diverse group of citizens, workers and business owners and their reasons for voting in favor of TSPLOST.

Here’s Untie Atlanta’s description of the ad from a July 26 press release:

  • The ad features a construction contractor, a waiter, a grandmother, a builder, a small business owner, a working mom, an intern, and an entrepreneur. The reasons for their support are just as varied as the group of people. Some are for the economic benefits, some are for a better quality of life, and the working mom just wants to get home faster and spend more time with her children. The one thing everyone has in common – they are part of a region with a future that depends on an improved transportation network.
