Duluth to 'Launch' Canoe Launch in Saturday Ceremony

Free Chattahoochee River tubing adventure for the first 25 guests to register at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Duluth city officials will “launch” the new canoe launch on the Chattahoochee River at Rogers Bridge Park Saturday, July 20.

The Rogers Bridge Canoe Launch will make it easier for canoers, rafters and tubers to access the river. The concrete launch includes a walk-down canoe ramp, a step-down boardwalk, a viewing area, and natural plantings. It replaces a dirt ramp.

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:15 a.m., kid-friendly activities will continue until 2 p.m.
