Duluth Mayor, Council To Meet on City Manager's Contract

Tim Shearer apparently was placed on administrative leave Wednesday.

A special called meeting of the Duluth mayor and City Council will be held Friday (Oct. 4) "for the purpose to consider termination of the City Manager’s Contract."

A notice on the city website said the special called meeting would be at 5 p.m. at City Hall. The notice said the mayor and council also would "adjourn into an Executive Session for purpose to discuss personnel, real estate, pending/potential litigation matters."

City Manager Tim Shearer may have been placed on administrative leave Wednesday, although Mayor Nancy Harris would not comment.
