Deal Taps Duluth Resident for State Agriculture Commission

J. Kenneth Morrow is currently president and general manager of Sod Atlanta in Cartersville.

Governor Nathan Deal has appointed a Duluth resident to the state Agricultural Education Advisory Commission.

J. Kenneth Morrow, who resides in Duluth with his family, is president and general manager of Sod Atlanta in Cartersville and president of Athletic Fields, a a company that builds sports fields.

Morrow is a former vice chairman of the Georgia Agribusiness Council, vice president of the Georgia Urban Ag Council, president of the Georgia Turfgrass Association, treasurer of the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association and president of the Georgia Crop Improvement Association.

Morrow received the Medallion of Honor from the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. He also is a graduate of Auburn University.
