Duluth’s new technology was launched at the State of the City Address on Monday, March 10th. Duluth’s app is available in the Apple and Google Play stores. Just search for Duluth, Ga – official.

The app allows residents to search restaurants, retail shops, etc. that are closest to their location, check an event calendar, report issues, find more information about the city’s parks and more! The app is also expected to add components with future updates. The city made the app in connection with My Community Mobile, which specialize in making apps for local governments.

“This project aligns with our marketing initiatives to use all available avenues to communicate with our citizens. So many stay connected through their mobile devices, so this app was a must to keep Duluth citizens engaged,” said Alisa Williams, Public Information and Marketing Director. Now Duluth offers an abundance of information at your fingertips and gives you the ability to report an issue, take a picture of the issue, map it and send to the appropriate city staff person to handle the issue.
