Charlotte Nash to be Sworn In Next Monday, March 28
Gwinnett native taking office as new chair of Gwinnett Board of Commissioners after winning election.
will be sworn in as the chair of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners at 4 p.m. Monday (March 28) in the auditorium of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center.
A former county administrator, Nash defeated opponents Will Costa, Duane Kissel and Larry Gause in the March 15 special election. Nash will replace former chairman Charles Bannister who resigned in November of 2010. She will serve the unexpired portion of Bannister’s term which is scheduled to end in December 2012. A Dacula native, Nash garnered 55.99 percent of the vote in the special election.
The Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center is located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville.
