Electronics can be recycled for free, but the cost of paper shredding is $5 a box and there is a $10 fee for TVs. There also is no charge for tires, but there is a limit of eight per vehicle. Payment must be in cash and the service is not open to businesses.

Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation and Solid Waste and Recovered Materials Division are teaming up with Shred Green, Atlanta Recycling Solutions, Waste Pro and Republic Services to offer this opportunity to residents. It will take place at Rhodes Jordan Park Community Recreation Center at 100 East Crogan St. in Lawrenceville.
