Wrong Way Crash Driver Reportedly Had Propofol in Her Possession

The Dacula woman faces more charges, including those related to stealing the drug from Gwinnett Medical Center, following a wrong way crash on Hwy. 316 in Lawrenceville.

Beverly Wilkins, 37 of Dacula, was previously charged with Reckless Driving, Motor Vehicle on the Wrong Side of the Road, Improper/Erratic Lane Change and several counts of Serious Injury by a Vehicle. Now LPD has addedΒ one felony count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (VGCSA) and one misdemeanor count of Theft by Taking to that list.

According to LPD, Wilkins had the powerful drug Propofol in her possession on the night of the accident. Propofol is the drug that was at the center of the death investigation of Michael Jackson.
