Suspect in Boggs Road Murder Apprehended in Mississippi

Nicambreon Mortray Flowers is charged with murder and armed robbery in the death of Joel Tengue.

The man wanted for an April 19 fatal shooting near Duluth was arrested in Mississippi, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.

Nicambreon Mortray Flowers is charged with murder and armed robbery in the death of Joel Tengue near Astor Place Apartments, located at 1435 Boggs Road. Tengue was found with an apparent gunshot wound.

Flowers was arrested Thursday, April 24 in Hattiesburg, Miss., said Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Shannon Volkodav.

Flowers is being held at the Forrest County, Miss., Jail awaiting extradition to Gwinnett County.
