Starlight Drive-In Shooting Suspect Caught in Duluth

Quentric S. Williams was cornered Wednesday afternoon in the Sun Suites at Steve Reynolds Boulevard and Club Drive in unincorporated Duluth.

DeKalb County Police reported that Quentric S. Williams, the 32-year-old man accused of shooting and killing a Georgia National Guardsman at the on Moreland Avenue in DeKalb County Tuesday has been arrested, according to Fox-5 Atlanta.

Williams, who police said shot 28-year-old Mitt-Chai Lenix, was arrested Wednesday at the Sun Suites hotel at the corner of Steve Reynolds Boulevard and Club Drive near Duluth, the TV station reported.

Williams is reportedly from Snellville. According to DeKalb County Jail records, he was being held on felony murder and other charges in the jail.

Lenix was a combat medic in the National Guard, a student at Georgia State University and a martial arts expert. DeKalb Police said he was apparently having car trouble and trying to ask for help when he was shot.
