Police: Bomb Threat Made in Duluth-Area Bank Robbery
Gwinnett County Police spokesman says the suspect gave the teller a note saying he had a bomb.
Gwinnett County Police are looking for a man who is suspected of robbing a Chase Bank Monday, Feb. 18, after threatening that he had a bomb.
According to a press release emailed Tuesday afternoon, police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said the robbery was reported at the Chase Bank at 3780 Old Norcross Road in unincorporated Duluth around 1:15 p.m. Monday.
"The suspect gave a note to a teller indicating that he had a bomb and wanted money," Smith wrote.

The suspect is described as an average-built white male in his late 40s or early 50s wearing blue jeans, tab jacket and black knit cap. (See photo.)
Smith said the suspect fled on foot with a small amount of cash. No vehicle was seen.
