I-85 Accident Claims Life of Auburn, GA, Woman
Gwinnett Police reported driver was ejected from her vehicle after striking median wall.
A 47-year-old Auburn, GA, woman died as a result of a one-car accident on Interstate 85 Sunday (Aug. 28) afternoon, according to Gwinnett Police.
Jennifer Cakora of 194 Carl Cedar Hill Road was traveling southbound on I-85 near Duluth Highway about 12:24 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the median wall, Det. J.R. Flanagan reported. Cakora was ejected from the vehicle and later died at Gwinnett Medical Center as a result of her injuries, Flanagan said.
Speed is believed to have been a factor in the collision, he said.
