Gwinnett Police Sponsoring Job Fair Saturday

Have you ever thought about becoming a police officer? Or maybe you want to change law enforcement agencies? If so, you might want to come to the Gwinnett County Police Department’s Job Fair Saturday, Feb. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A flyer on the Job Fair lists a salary of $35,023 for a police officer trainee and $37,648 for a senior police officer with the Gwinnett Police Department.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is a nationally accredited, full-service department with specialized units such as SWAT, K-9, DUI Task Force, Aviation, Motorcycle Unit, Bomb Squad (EOD), and more. Gwinnett County also offers an out-standing compensation/benefits package, according to the flyer.

The Job Fair will occur at the Gwinnett County Police Training Center, 854 Winder Hwy., in Lawrenceville.
