Four suspects have burglarized safes in four Waffle House restaurants since May, according to an article published July 5 on ajc.com. The daring burglaries at restaurants in Duluth, Loganville, and two in Oakwood have cost Waffle House more than $7,000.
Gwinnett Police reported that a male suspect immediately enters the men’s restroom where he cuts a hole in the ceiling, climbs into the manager’s office where the safe is located and cleans it out.
Three other suspects, either two females or a male and a female, place orders for food, play music on the jukebox, and create distractions to cover up the noise in the bathroom.
