Duluth Police Help Catch Man Wanted for Murder in Houston County

Lamar Isiodre showed up at Duluth hospital with a bullet wound.

A Montezuma, Ga., man wanted for murder in Houston County was found by Duluth Police after he arrived at a Gwinnett hospital with a bullet wound.

Lamar Isiodre, 28, is accused a murder in the Thursday, March 13, shooting of Dylan Akers, 22, of Houston County, the Macon Telegraph reported.

Isiodre had shown up with a bullet wound to the leg sometime around midnight Friday at Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reported Duluth police responded to a call at the hospital of a person who had been shot. About an hour later, Duluth PD received an alert from Houston County authorities to be on the lookout for a man with a gunshot wound to the thigh. Isiodre matched the description.

Isiodre was in the Houston County jail by the end of the weekend.
