The Walker family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., in Norcross. Glen Walker’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, at Norcross First United Methodist Church, 2500 Beaver Ruin Road, Norcross. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. Matthews was driving the black minivan that struck the white van in which the Walkers were traveling with their two children. The black minivan was reportedly driving erratically before the accident.

The impact caused the Walker van, which Glen was driving, to flip. Their children Alana, 6, and Cameron, 2, were taken to Egleston after the accident and were released. They are presently being cared for family members.

Joshua Jenkins, 16, a passenger in the black minivan, was killed. Matthews and three other children riding in the minivan were injured.

The investigation is still ongoing, and the charges may be increased or additional charges may be filed, Lester said.
