Gwinnett police conduct six-month investigation into suspected bootleg CDs and DVDs.

Gwinnett County Police raided two CD Warehouse locations Tuesday, including the one on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, and confiscated thousands of suspected counterfeit CD and DVDs, Channel 2 news reported.

The TV station reported Gwinnett police moved in Tuesday after a six-month investigation of the Duluth store and one on Buford Drive near the Mall of Georgia. The report said police were investigating possible counterfeiting of concert recordings and newly released movies.

Store owner David Reed Kirk of Dacula was booked into the county jail Tuesday morning and charged with four counts related to the reproduction of recorded material, Dacula Patch reported. He was released late Tuesday on a $44,800 bond.
