Two men charged with multiple counts of armed robbery.

Gwinnett County Police today announced the arrests of two men in connection with a string of armed robberies.

Police have charged Stacey Lamont Dooley and Quinton Lamar Booker in connection with three armed robberies in Gwinnett County including two at the Mall of Georgia.

Dooley is charged with three counts of armed robbery in Gwinnett and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Booker is also charged with three counts of armed robbery.

Additional charges against Dooley and Booker, as well as other suspects, are under active investigation according to police.

The first Gwinnett robbery occurred in November of 2010 at the Mall of Georgia Bank of America. The second Gwinnett robbery took place at the Wells Fargo in Centerville. On December 7, 2010, the suspects are accused of committing a robbery inside the Mall of Georgia. An armed guard fired one round at the suspects in that incident.

In all three Gwinnett cases, guards were refilling ATMs at the time of the robberies.

According to a GCPD press release, the suspects were prevented from completing two planned armed robberies as a result of the efforts of the GCPD, FBI and DeKalb Police.

DeKalb Police continue to investigate whether the suspects were involved in the death of an armored car guard on March 15.
