Murder-Suicide Investigated in Duluth

Gwinnett Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred at the Gwinnett Place Commons office complex near Satellite Boulevard and Steve Reynolds Boulevard in unincorporated Duluth Tuesday night, Channel 2 TV Action News reported.

A witness called called 911 after seeing two people lying in the parking lot of the office complex. When police arrived they confronted a woman armed with a gun who shot herself, according to Gwinnett Police Cpl. Jake Smith. She is deceased, Smith said.

The woman apparently shot both victims, an Asian male and Hispanic female, and sped away running over the man, then returned to the office park. The female was alive and reported in critical condition after emergency surgery.
