Memorial Service Set for Paula Shearer, Wife of Duluth City Manager Tim Shearer
A celebration of Mrs. Shearer's life is planned at Life Church International in Duluth Wednesday, April 24.
A memorial service is planned for Paula Nelson Shearer, 44, of Duluth on Wednesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. at Life Church International.
Mrs. Shearer, the wife of Duluth City Manager Tim Shearer, passed away April 20 after a lengthy fight against cancer.
She is survived by her husband and three children, Jordan Shearer, Nathan Shearer and Daniel Shearer, all of Duluth; parents, Dennis and Kay Nelson of Duluth; sister and brother-in-law, Krista and Derek Metro of Flowery Branch; and brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Eli Nelson of Copperopolis, CA.

Life Church International is located at 4830 River Green Parkway, Suite 200, in Duluth. Minister Derek Metro will officiate at Mrs. Shearer’s service.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford.
