Chick-fil-A to Host 'Spirit Night' Fundraiser

Enter a drawing to throw out the first pitch at May 12 Gwinnett Braves game. The Duluth store is participating in the special event Wednesday, April 18, to benefit Gwinnett Children's Shelter.

Here's your chance to throw out the first pitch in an upcoming Gwinnett Braves Game.

The 17 Gwinnett County Chick-fil-A restaurants, including three Duluth locations, are hosting a Spirit Night on Wednesday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. All who attend will be entered into a drawing to win the honor of throwing the first pitch of the May 12 Gwinnett Braves Game at Coolray Field.

Spirit Night will benefit the Gwinnett Children's Shelter (GCS. A percentage of sales will go to GCS, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The drawing winner will be escorted onto the field in a Chick-fil-A vehicle by the Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin" cows and will throw out the first pitch.

Tickets for the May 12 game can be purchased here, and a portion of each ticket sold through the GCS will be donated back to support the mission of the shelter.

The Gwinnett Children's Shelter is a residential care facility that provides both long- and short-term services to youth 12 to 21 years of age who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, and/or are in need of supervised care.
