the endgame & why senate republicans don’t like ted cruz

the sunday morning shows are over and it is time to distill the newly gained insights from the highly paid pundits. mr. rove must have missed his skybox at memorial stadium saturday to tape the sunday program for fox. texas prevailed in spite of his absence!!!

insights gleaned: senate republicans don’t like ted cruz because he did not share the “endgame” on his maneuver to defund aca. ”‘ted cruz” is a populist, which for our low information tea party enthusiast is akin to being uncouth. if you don’t live in d.c. , it means you are a subject or a vassal

the senate is the senior club for gentlemen where ted cruz just doesn't fit in even though he went to harvard. how could he tarnish his alma mater with such populist antics?

consider the rules of the senate on cloture and filibuster rule 22, how could any “subject” be capable of understanding that 3/5 of 100 is 40. you might want to remind 45 republicans this week that ted maybe on to something. ironic that the senate republicans have a debt clock on their homepage, they surely know that by allowing the aca to be funded the debt will climb faster or maybe they believe the president.

the best take away from the morning is the strategy of selective funding resolutions. rather than pass one continuing resolution, why not do it piecemeal, this process is akin to a line item veto many want to give the the executive branch, but reversed. say the senate republicans cave because they dislike ted cruz more than dislike the aca. then god forbid house leader john boehner really decides to lead and in separate resolutions, the “people’s” house begins to fund only those essential constitutional functions of government. defense, debt payments, social security, medicare….

let me be clear it would not be pretty, but talk about engaging the electorate, especially the low information hayseed grassroots, it would be nothing short of revolutionary.

the american people truly understand the tyranny being perpetrated upon them by the ruling class beltway as they strip our individual liberty for the sake of their continued privilege to govern. the aca is just one example, of many, that point to the fact the government is out of control. what is best for the united states of america? is it more important to sacrifice liberty for stability? that is the question at hand. do you believe in yourself, your character your ability to participate in your government or have you accepted your status as “subject“.
