Iranian Navy coming to U.S.? Tehran says it will happen

A discussion on the recent threats by Iran against the United States.

According to the head of the Iranian Navy, the Persian nation will attempt to sail warships to the U.S. coast within "the next few years." Iran has become infamous for making threats to the west, with all of them coming up empty. Yet, further threats will most likely continue as U.S. warships have been based in Bahrain, just across the Persian Gulf from Iran, for quite some time now. Washington recently announced that the U.S. Fifth fleet will undergo maritime wargames in the Persian Gulf at the end of the month.

All the back and forth between the two nations stems from the fact that Iran has been attempting to establish a nuclear energy program for years now, and the United States believes that they are enriching uranimum to develop a weapon of mass destruction, a claim that Tehran vehemently disputes.

I believe that eventually this conflict is going to come to a head. Most likely with Iran finally carrying out one of their threats on Isreal.  If this does indeed happen, then the U.S. will once again find itself in a lengthy and costly war. Iran's leadership is just too unstable to allow this type of rhetoric to continue, something must be done before they are able to succesfully enrich uranium, because if they are able to build a substantial nuclear weapon then the threats against Isreal, the United States and indeed the entire Western Hemisphere will start to become all too real.
