Holidays and History For Sale in Duluth

The Enchanted Christmas Idea House will run this month in Duluth.

Updated Dec. 8

You can do some holiday shopping and get a touch of Christmas and history in Duluth this month.

The venerable Strickland House on Buford Highway has been done up for the season as the Enchanted Christmas Idea House. Items from area merchants are for sale at the event, and there are holiday touches such as hand-sculpted Santas and the largest nutcracker collection in Georgia.

It's a fund-raiser put on by the Duluth Historical Society. Tickets are $10.

The event will run Dec. 8, Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 21-22.  Hours are Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to the announcement.

Note: This article has been updated to include all dates and times for the event. Also, a link to the Historical Society Facebook page has been included.
