I'd like to welcome everyone to the new GwinnettWeather blog and thanks to Faye for making this all happen!

To me, this blog serves one purpose, keeping people informed about weather events that may impact their lives. I'll keep you updated with everything from the current weather conditions to exploring long range forecasts. I will be making extensive use of the resources on my DaculaWeather.com website to present information visually to help you better understand what is going on in the atmosphere. Hopefully along the way, you'll gain a better understanding about the weather and how it affects all of our lives. I even have lots of weather resources for kids so they can begin to understand how weather works. When it's all said and done, I hope you find this blog informative as well as fun.

I'm currently in the process of documenting the April 27-28th tornado outbreak. This information is still changing on a daily basis right but here's a link to the page that's currently under construction.
