Here's your chance to throw out the first pitch in an upcoming Gwinnett Braves Game.
The 17 Gwinnett County Chick-fil-A restaurants, including three Duluth locations, are hosting a Spirit Night on Wednesday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. All who attend will be entered into a drawing to win the honor of throwing the first pitch of the May 12 Gwinnett Braves Game at Coolray Field.
Spirit Night will benefit the Gwinnett Children's Shelter (GCS. A percentage of sales will go to GCS, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The drawing winner will be escorted onto the field in a Chick-fil-A vehicle by the Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin" cows and will throw out the first pitch.
Tickets for the May 12 game can be purchased here, and a portion of each ticket sold through the GCS will be donated back to support the mission of the shelter.
The Gwinnett Children's Shelter is a residential care facility that provides both long- and short-term services to youth 12 to 21 years of age who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, and/or are in need of supervised care.
