Winning $1 Million Georgia Lottery Ticket Sold in Duluth

A Duluth woman is among those sharing in the prize.

A Duluth woman is among those who shared in a $1 million prize from the Georgia Lottery recently.

According to a Georgia Lottery news release, Cathy Thomas of Duluth was among those who claimed their Mega Millions prize on Nov. 20 at the Georgia Lottery office in Duluth. The other winners from an office pool were Richard Goodroe of Grayson and Lillie Dickey of Snellville.

The winning ticket was sold at Quick Mart Texaco at 2590 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Duluth. The winning ticket matched the first five winning numbers from the Nov. 19 drawing -- 14-15-29-49-63.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing is at an estimated $205 million to a single annuity winner.
