The "Live At Lake Lanier"
Fall Concert Series brings Grammy Award-winning artists to the resort's scenic Peachtree Pointe
Amphitheater where they will perform a wide variety of styles including
jazz, blues and zydeco. Guests will enjoy the unique blend of music and
rare performances at the relaxed lake setting
under
the stars.
The Fall Concert Series kicks-off with four-time Grammy Award-winning Jimmie Vaughan AND The Tilt-A-Whirl Band Featuring Lou Ann Barton (Sept. 7) for a true blues and soul experience. The following weeks will host renowned jazz musicians beginning with The CreoleJoe Band Featuring Joe Sample & Ray Parker, Jr. (Sept. 21). September closes out with the amazing instrumental artist, Boney James. (Sept. 28). Finishing the series in October
is Spyro Gyra (Oct. 5) with a pure jazz ensemble experience. Each show
will feature an electrifying opening act.
All concerts are on Saturday and start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at www.liveatlakelanier.com.
The
Amphitheater's inclined, terraced layout includes chairs in every
section, and there is not a bad seat in the house. Guests can purchase
an array
of food and beverages from themed menus at the onsite pavilion. Outside
food and beverages are not allowed.
