Santa and the Ice queen

New Dawn Theater features local play writes work

John and Sandy Laszlo, residents of Peachtree Corners, have written a children’s play, “Santa and the Ice Queen,” which will open on November 29 and run for 3 weeks at the New Dawn Theater in Duluth.  The Laszlos will be part of the cast which includes nine children in the roles of elves, trolls and reindeer.  The play is being produced and directed by Jenny Scher and Leslie Kelley of Rising Stars Productions.

This is the second play that the Laszlos, a retired hospital administrator and a retired attorney, have written and have had produced. Their first play, “Snow White’s Birthday Surprises,” had a very successful run earlier this year. Both plays are intended for younger audiences (and those who are young at heart) and include activities for children to participate on stage with cast members.
