Enchanted Christmas Idea House

Open the doors to an

idea
wonderland at the Historic Strickland House and let your imagination go!  Each room on the main floor of this beautiful historic home will be creatively ornamented. You

will feel as if you are walking through the pages of a magazine inviting

you to discover clever secrets to successful holiday

entertaining:  “table-scapes”, serving

ideas and professionally decorated Christmas trees and mantles.

As you explore each room, memories of Christmas past come

to life through the art work of renowned local artists Ann Odom

and Kathy Fincher. In addition there will be a unique collection of over 300 Nutcrackers

and sculpted life-size Santas, previously showcased at the Biltmore Estate.

This holiday wonderland begins Saturday, December 7th and

Sunday, December 8th to run for the next two weekends, December 14 & 15 and

21 & 22.  Hours are Saturdays, 11 am to 8 pm, Sundays, 2 pm to 6 pm.

Tickets are $10.00. All proceeds benefit the Strickland House and History

Museum.
