Closing Weekend "Plaza Suite" at New Dawn Theater

Ever wonder what happens in hotel rooms in a
fancy
New York high
rise? Take 1968, a time of flower power, free love, the Vietnam war, admin
assistants were still called secretary’s, most married women were housewives,
and the best weddings were bright pastels, lace to the chin and Dad’s still
foot the bill. First we find Karen & Sam Nash, seemingly happy for 24 or 25
years, but something dark lies beneath the surface.  Can Karen get Sam to enjoy a romantic
weekend, or does he have other plans? Then we have a famous
Hollywood
producer, Jesse Kiplinger and his former high school sweetheart, Muriel Tate.
They haven’t seen each other in 17 years. She is happily married, and he has
tried to be, 3 times. Is there a possibility of rekindled love, or just another
game? Finally, will Roy and Norma ever get Mimsey down the aisle to marry her
groom Borden? It may take more than you think…they have to get her out of the
bathroom first. There is something bothering her, but mom and dad can’t seem to
figure it out. What it takes, may do more than just marry their daughter off.
Can their marriage survive, or will Norma throw an unhappy Joe out the 7th
story window first? Welcome to “The Plaza Hotel”. Here’s your room key…relax
and enjoy your stay!
