Walmart Offering Black Thursday Sales at 10 P.M.

Old Navy open Thanksgiving Day and reopening at midnight Friday. Toys R Us opening at 10 p.m. Thursday. Other stores opening at midnight Friday, and 4 and 5 a.m. Friday.

You can get a jump on Black Friday by staying up late Thanksgiving night instead of getting up early the day after Thanksgiving at some Duluth area stores. It’s actually possible to shop all night by heading over to the stores opening at midnight, 4 a.m., 5 a.m., and later.

Walmart is opening at 10 p.m. Thanksgiving night with Black Thursday sales on TVs, electronics, and toys. The discount retailer is advertising that it is staying open, so you don’t have to stand in line and get trampled in a Black Friday rush through the store doors.

Toys R Us is also opening at 10 p.m. Thursday. Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s, and Best Buy plan to welcome holiday shoppers a couple hours later at midnight. Sears and JCPenney open for shoppers at 4 a.m. on Friday, Bed Bath & Beyond opens at 5 a.m. Friday. So does Sam’s Club. Doors at Costco open at 9 a.m.

Old Navy is giving shoppers an advantageous head start by being open Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and reopening at midnight Friday.

Check out the sales and preview ads on several websites including www.blackfriday.info, www.blackfriday.us and www.blackfridayads/net.

Walmart was a mess. It didn't even open at 10. There was a line of about 50 people waiting for it to open. People fled the parking lot because it was so bad. I waited 20 minutes after 10 before leaving. NOT WORTH IT
