You can get a jump on Black Friday by staying up late Thanksgiving night instead of getting up early the day after Thanksgiving at some Duluth area stores. It’s actually possible to shop all night by heading over to the stores opening at midnight, 4 a.m., 5 a.m., and later.
Walmart is opening at 10 p.m. Thanksgiving night with Black Thursday sales on TVs, electronics, and toys. The discount retailer is advertising that it is staying open, so you don’t have to stand in line and get trampled in a Black Friday rush through the store doors.
Toys R Us is also opening at 10 p.m. Thursday. Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s, and Best Buy plan to welcome holiday shoppers a couple hours later at midnight. Sears and JCPenney open for shoppers at 4 a.m. on Friday, Bed Bath & Beyond opens at 5 a.m. Friday. So does Sam’s Club. Doors at Costco open at 9 a.m.
Old Navy is giving shoppers an advantageous head start by being open Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and reopening at midnight Friday.

in Duluth will be open from 4 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. Hours for Mall of Georgia in nearby Buford are the same. Both are Simon malls.
