Vince Dooley to Sign Books at Duluth Kroger

Former UGA head football coach will also autograph college memorabilia at Kroger on Steve Reynolds Boulevard.

Former University of Georgia head football coach Vince Dooley will sign copies of his books and collegiate memorabilia from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Duluth Kroger at 3093 Steve Reynolds Blvd.

Dooley coached the UGA football team for 25 years and led the Bulldogs to more than 200 victories, including a 1980 National Championship.  

The legendary coach has published more than nine books focused on his life, the South and football, including “How ‘Bout Them Dawgs,” “Dooley: My 40 Years at Georgia,” “Hairy Dawg’s Journey Through the Peach State,” and “Vince Dooley’s Garden: A Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach.”
