Valentine Activities Abound for Everyone in Gwinnett

February is filled with Valentine celebrations at parks throughout Gwinnett County. There are Daddy-Daughter Dances in Suwanee and Norcross, a Family Valentine Dance in Lawrenceville, a romantic Valentine Day Dinner Dance for Sweethearts in Lawrenceville. For senior citizens, there is a Valentine Day Breakfast in Lawrenceville and a Valentine Day Tea, also in Lawrenceville.

And a bit later in the month, there’s a family Masquerade Ball in Buford for Mardi Gras. Here are the dates, details and registration links.

Art Show · January 2 – February 27 · Free!
The Buford Artists' Group will gather for a memorable showcase of their finest art works, challenging one another to further express their creativity. George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center, 55 Buford Highway, Suwanee.

Spring Art Show · January 24 - April 12 · Free!

Daddy-Daughter Dance · February 8
7:00pm to 9:00pm. Swing your favorite valentine around the dance floor, enjoy light refreshments, and spend an unforgettable night with someone you cherish. This is a favorite event for girls and their fathers (or another special man in their life).  Age 4+, $11/person. 5:00pm to 8:00pm. She’ll be your little princess on a gentlemen’s arm as you celebrate a memorable evening celebrating Valentine’s Day together. Valentine Day Dinner Dance · February 14
6:30pm to 9:00pm. Think outside the “chocolate box” this year. Bring your sweetheart to the historic courthouse for dinner, music and dancing in the romantic Superior Court Ballroom. The evening starts with light appetizers in the Gallery Hall, followed by dinner, live music and dancing in the ballroom. The evening includes a keepsake photo and door prizes. $61/couple.
