Jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing was $588 million. Amount drops to $40 million for Saturday's drawing.

If you bought your Powerball ticket in Georgia, you did not win last night's $588 million jackpot. Two winning tickets were sold in the Nov. 28 Powerball lottery according to the Georgia Lottery website. The tickets were sold in Arizona and Missouri.

The winning numbers were 5-16-22-23-29 with a Powerball of 6.

However, the luck was not all bad for Georgia Powerball players. A $1 million winning ticket was sold in Georgia, and numerous $10,000 prize tickets were sold. The lucky player won $1 million by matching all five white balls. Thirty-three people won $10,000 by matching four of the white balls plus the Powerball number.
