Rupert's Orchestra Playing in Duluth Sept. 10

Popular dance band to perform community concert two weeks prior to Duluth Fall Festival.

The Duluth Fall Festival Committee is presenting a free community concert featuring Rupert’s Orchestra Saturday, Sept. 10, as a prelude to festival fun. The popular 12-piece orchestra will have everyone on their feet dancing to its music.

The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. at the on the T. Betti Seni will be the opening act.

Rupert’s Orchestra, formed in 1987 as the house band at the former Rupert’s nightclub in Buckhead, played for packed crowds there for eight years. The orchestra continues to perform Top 40 hits, Motown sounds, classic rock and 1940s Big Band music at private, corporate and community events.
